VaxForward COVID-19 Campus Vaccine Initiative Digital Toolkit

CH partnered with the American College Health Association to create a digital campaign and toolkit to address vaccine hesitancy and promote COVID-19 vaccination on college campuses. We conducted focus groups with vaccine-hesitant students from Black, Hispanic, and politically conservative communities and used insights from these focus groups to develop a campaign and digital toolkit. The toolkit included social media graphics, posters, sample talking points, and a campus radio ad script, and planning and implementation tips for college health educators. We also collaborated with an agency specializing in youth influencer marketing to get the word out on college campuses through trusted messengers. In 2022, we updated the toolkit to incorporate guidance about COVID-19 boosters and ensure messaging aligned with the current state of the pandemic, so this resource will stay relevant as the pandemic continues to evolve.
